Doug Sandahl
Doug Sandahl's family owns and operates the Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins. Doug is a life-long resident of Arizona and a University of Arizona Graduate. Doug has done many high profile Real Estate Developments (including Royal Palm Estates at 50th Street/Camelback Rd in Phoenix) and built over 1000 luxury homes in Phoenix - Arcadia - Scottsdale - Paradise Valley. Doug & his business partner opened the 1st ever La-Z-Boy® Furniture Galleries Store in the US in 1988, launching what is now the largest & most recognized furniture retailer in the country.
Doug is married to his wife Denise, and together they have 11 children. Denise is an Arizona native, attended Xavier High School in Phoenix, studied architecture at the University of Arizona, and graduated with an Engineering degree from Arizona State University.
Doug's Vision for Greer Lodge Resort:
Doug acquired the Historic Greer Lodge in 2004, and set out to create a place where families and romantic couples can connect with each other and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Doug chose Greer, Arizona (population 122) because of its natural beauty, four seasons and abundant wildlife. Here, he has acquired, renovated, expanded and constructed comfortable lodging, and a friendly restaurant. He has also created one of the best places in Arizona to fish for trout in the lakes and streams on property. A place where romantic couples and families can come, connect, touch nature, make memories and grow closer to each other.
Doug's family has invested their time, talents and financial resources in creating the Greer Lodge Resort. The Sandahl family is proud to share the Historic Lodge Rooms, Large and Cozy Cabins, Restaurants, and fishing facilities with all who are drawn to this beautiful place. Our management team and staff are "mountain people" who live here in the mountains because they love this lifestyle.
