Free Snowshoes

Snowshoeing is a great winter activity for getting outside and keeping active.  Snowshoes can be used by all guests who enjoy a winter snowfall while walking, running or hiking and can be used just about anywhere there are a few inches of snow on the ground.

Greer Lodge Resort has Free Snowshoes for our guests.

Using Snowshoes is easy:  Once you get the Snowshoes on your feet, by clipping the Snowshoe straps onto your shoes, you will be surprised how easy it is to walk or run with the Snowshoes attached to your feet.  To walk in Snowshoes just move one foot infront of the other naturally.  If you decide you need further balance, we will provide ski poles.  No previous snowshoeing experience is necessary.

Where to go with Snowshoes:  A big advantage of snowshoes is that you can use them on deep untracked trails because they are made to beat down a track for you to get through.  You can walk around our resort property and the surrounding countryside where skiers and snowboarders can not go.
